Breathe is the treatment arm of the charity S.E.E.D – Support and Education for Eating Disorders.
S.E.E.D is the only service of this kind in Lancashire, providing FREE information, advice, education, resources, training and practical help for anyone affected by eating distress.
S.E.E.D is a volunteer led, registered charity based around Christian values.
Since 2007, we have been providing a network of support for sufferers of eating/food/weight related issues and their family members, carers and friends.

FREE services are available to people who join as members of the S.E.E.D community for which there is a nominal annual membership fee of £10.
FREE Counseling Service
A completely FREE service where you get your own counselor and have friendly face to face chats about the kind of support you need in your journey of recovery.
FREE Drop In Service
S.E.E.D’s Drop In Service is dedicated to providing support and information to increase self awareness and confidence, learn new life skills all geared toward the aim of a full recovery. new skills. You can get specific help for your particular condition, complete self help worksheets, do art therapy as well as meeting and chatting informally with other sufferers in a relaxed, safe and confidential environment.
FREE Self Help Support Groups
The groups are educational in nature designed to address concerns and issues that have direct relevance to eating disorders and a person’s recovery. Individual sessions are devoted to a particular topic e.g. body image, anxiety management, coping strategies and nutritional management.
In line with recommended NICE (National Institiute For Health & Care Excellence) guidelines, S.E.E.D groups have a self-help focus and alternate between open support and educational sessions.
